St Columba Falls

Photo Details

Photo Title - Wish Bone f

Photo Location - St Columba Falls, Tasmania

Photo Description - Taken on a very cold winters afternoon from deep in the rainforest that occupies the base of St Columba Falls and much of the nearby landscape. The waterfall plunges 90 metres and is the second highest waterfall in Tasmania. This wishbone shaped waterfall is quite elegant and beautiful but at the same time quite intimidating as viewed from its base, the water roars down this massive drop with a lot of power and at the time of this photo the viewing platform was closed due to damage caused by recent heavy rain.

Photo Taken - June 2011
